In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing MVLs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of MVL cases from inception to closure, ensuring all statutory obligations are met.
- Conduct initial meetings with clients to gather information and assess their needs.
- Prepare and review necessary documentation, including statutory reports, accounts, and declarations of solvency.
- Liaise with directors, shareholders, creditors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
- Conduct thorough investigations into company affairs and prepare detailed reports for clients.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and efficient administration of MVLs.
- Keep up to date with changes in insolvency law and regulations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients throughout the MVL process, maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional qualification in insolvency (e.g., CPI, JIEB) or working towards such qualification.
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in insolvency practice, with a significant focus on MVLs.
- Strong understanding of UK insolvency laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in using insolvency software and Microsoft Office applications.
