Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Surveyor to take responsibility for Landlord and Tenant professional services for an established, well-respected Commercial Practice. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients to provide strategic, tailored solutions to maintain the outstanding service provision.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders internally and externally, taking responsibility for delivering expert advice and guidance on all landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews, lease re-gearing, and lease restructuring.
Key Responsibilities of the Surveyor:
- Conducting lease renewal negotiations on behalf of landlords and tenants.
- Advising clients on rent review negotiations, including assessing market evidence and recommending rental values.
- Managing lease re-gearing and lease restructuring processes to maximize value for clients.
- Acting as Expert Witness representing Landlords and Tenants in Independent Expert, Arbitration and PACT referrals. Court, appointments and other landlord and tenant disputes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Keeping abreast of market trends, legislation, and best practices within the landlord and tenant sector.
Required skills for the Surveyor:
- MRICS qualification essential.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in landlord and tenant surveying, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes for clients.
- Experience working within Lease Advisory.
- Previous experience preparing arbitration reports.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience interpreting complex lease documents and analysing market data.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
In return, you will receive an annual salary of up to £70,000.
