Take the Lead in a Fast-Growth, Forward-Thinking Environment
This is a standout opportunity for a strategic & hands-on Operations Manager to join a growing, UK-based organisation delivering high-quality products into fast-paced B2B sectors including housing, utilities, and industrial. Backed by major framework agreements and a strong reputation for innovation, this business is on a clear growth trajectory.

You'll be responsible for leading and coordinating all core operational functions; warehousing, logistics, production and fulfilment, with Customer Service the forefront of everything you, as well as helping embed new digital and process-led improvements across the function.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead daily operations across warehouse, production, logistics, and customer service
  • Prepare your team for a major ERP transformation (migration to Business Central), including digital picking and barcode scanning
  • Drive performance through clear KPIs (e.g., OTIF, stock accuracy, dispatch rates)
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers
  • Build a strong and accountable team, mentoring 3 direct reports and overseeing approximately 20 operational staff
  • Champion a high-performance, safety-first culture
  • Develop and streamline processes to support scalable growth

What You'll Bring:

  • A track record of success in a similar Operations Management role, ideally in PPE, workwear, B2B distribution, or light manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP systems and stock/inventory management
  • Knowledge of supply chain, including importing, logistics, and fulfilment
  • Confidence managing people, process, and change in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • A "hands-on" style, comfortable both on the ground with teams and at the table with directors
  • Awareness of UK health and safety standards; ISO or Lean Six Sigma experience a plus

Why This Role?
This is more than just an operational role, it's a chance to be a strategic enabler of growth. You'll have the autonomy to shape your function and the support of a Managing Director who offers both high challenge and high support. Whether you're already an accomplished operations leader or ready to step up from a senior supervisor or team leader role, this is your platform to make a real impact.
