Your new company
Youwill be working as a cover supervisor for Hays Education, part of HaysSpecialist Recruitment Agency. We are the UK and the World's largest specialistrecruitment agency and have over 50 years experience. You will be working alongside some of the best trained consultants in the industry hoping to find andsecure the perfect job for you.
Your new role
- Supervise classes of 11 to 16 year olds in the absence of their usual class teacher- Manage behaviour in line with school policy
- Deliver lessons from a range of subjects across the national curriculum set by a qualified teacher
- Leave completed work and observation notes for the class teacher
What you'll need to succeed
- Have experience working with teenagers and be able to provide referee details to confirm this experience- Have a genuine passion for teaching
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills and a general knowledge of the secondary curriculum
- Be able to communicate effectively with students and staff
- Be organised and able to think on your feet
- Be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable
