Teaching Assistant needed!
Permanent, full time or part time
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to become an essential part of the team at this Academy.
- This permanent role will be to support the learning of specific students with additional educational needs
- Maintaining specified student's targets both in the classroom and in specially designed interventions.
- There may also be times when they will be required to support other children in the class; leading small groups and working with other individuals.
- Assisting the class teacher with the classroom environment and resources.
- Assisting with student specific individual care; additional responsibility payment available
The ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English, and Maths skills (minimum Grade 4 GCSE or equivalent) to support children up to Key Stage 5.
