Are you an experienced Quality Inspection Engineer or similar with hands on ability, eager to join a top-tier automotive manufacturer offering further training, senior responsibilities and a generous benefits package?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Automotive manufacturer looking to expand its Quality Team. Since its inception in 1971, this company has grown into a well-established and recognized name in the Automotive industry. They are known for delivering high-quality solutions for various brands within the classic car market to brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls-Royce, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence and innovation.
In this dynamic role, you will lead the Quality department, providing essential analysis and oversight. Your responsibilities will include creating sample reports, investigating non-conformances, and ensuring department-wide adherence to standards. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Research & Development teams and serve as the department's representative to suppliers. Additionally, you will take on senior duties such as conducting department meetings, performance reviews, and driving further development initiatives.
This role is ideal for a meticulous Quality Inspection Engineer or similar with strong hands-on skills, seeking career advancement within a highly successful automotive company while helping to uphold its high standards.
THE ROLE:
- Creating sample reports
- Ensure standards are met
- Investigation of non-conformances
- Department and supplier liaison
- Senior meetings, reviews and direct report to head of engineering
- Mon-Thurs 9-5, Friday 9-4.30
THE PERSON:
- Hands on Quality Inspection Engineer
- HNC/ HND Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Manufacturing background (or similar)
- Commutable to Salisbury
