We are recruiting on behalf of a popular secondary school in the Orpington area, looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Chemistry and Physics to join their Science department. This is a long-term, full-time position with an opportunity to extend to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Chemistry and Physics, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for students.
- Develop resources and syllabuses and contribute to the overall departmental plan.
- Participate in quality assurance, helping to monitor and evaluate the Science curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress to support individual learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student development.
- Serve as a form tutor, contributing to the school's pastoral care system and providing guidance to a group of students.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree in a science-related subject.
- Experienced in teaching Science, particularly Chemistry and Physics, across secondary schools and further education.
- Has a genuine passion for working with young people and enjoys fostering a dynamic, stimulating learning environment.
- Punctual, trustworthy, and a strong team player, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both students and staff.
