Development Technologist

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international company that are specialists in their field and a market leader within their sector. As a result of growth they are now seeking a Development Technologist to join their team.
Within this role you will be working alongside the Sales and Commercial team leading projects that will showcase products and support customer briefs. Working closely with marketing and commercial teams to develop recipes and preparing samples for customer presentations as well as trialling different ingredients in customer recipes
This will be a hands-on role where you will work closely with the technical product teams to build a comprehensive and descriptive product library whilst actively seeking out gaps and opportunities to innovate new products.
Development Technologist Skills / Experience Required
- The successful candidate should possess a degree in Food Technology, Food Science or similar, with a background in creative.
- Clear understanding of the UK/EU Food and Beverage market and legislation and consumer preferences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- The ability to work to customers requirements and assigned deadlines.
- Effective communication skills at all levels, both written and verbally.
Salary and Benefit
- Up to £40,000 per annum according to your experience. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
