Talent Executive

The key purpose of the Talent Executive role is to proactively identify and approach candidates, qualify that they have the right skills and expertise, secure their commitment for potential roles, and share them with consultants for vacancies that they may not have live yet.

We operate five national further education hubs which cover the whole of the UK. Our dedicated FE consultants work in partnership with clients to identify and source the best further education professionals across all institutions, including colleges, sixth forms, prisons, leadership roles and training providers.

We provide a full suite of recruitment solutions, including temporary, permanent, fixed-term contract, interim and managed services.

This position will be supporting a well-established desk, recruiting for Prison's and Construction within Further Education Colleges and Prison's.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Sourcing and selecting suitable candidates from a range of different sources, including jobsites, social media, other platforms, referrals and using local market knowledge.
  • Preparing and posting adverts.
  • Conducting marketing activity to attract new candidates to register with Reed.
  • Contacting candidates and conducting initial screening to find out what roles they are interested in, the skills and experience they have, their salary expectations, notice period and their reason for leaving their current/most recent role.
  • Meet KPI targets and adhere to audit and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment, resourcing, or customer service is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a motivated team.
  • Proactive and driven, with a commitment to achieving targets.
  • Ethical approach to recruitment with a focus on quality and compliance.
