Are you a fully qualified Level 3 Plumber/Gas Engineer looking to make a positive impact on the planet and the tradespeople of the future? Join us at the East of England Energy Academy as a Plumbing and Gas Tutor, and be part of our expansion at our brand-new flagship centre.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver training and assessments to Apprentices and existing Plumbing and Gas Engineers.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Prepare and shape the tradespeople of the future by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team of Assessors.
  • Participate in the setup of the new academy, ready to welcome the first cohort in Spring 2024.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Level 3 Plumber/Gas Engineer (CCN1 and CENWAT) with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good level of English, Maths, and IT.
  • Willingness to attend staff training courses.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and work well as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

  • Qualified Assessor – training experience is excellent, however, full training will be provided if required.
