**The Role
As a Yard Person, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of vehicle movements on site. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating shunters and managing vehicle movement across the site
- Planning and organising workflow to support the workshop
- Assisting with loading/unloading vehicles for transport
- Capturing photos of shunters pre and post-hire
- Supporting general building maintenance and health & safety tasks
- Collaborating across departments and contributing to projects
- Operating a forklift (training available if needed)
**What We're Looking For
- A valid driving licence (HGV licence is a bonus)
- Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
- Strong initiative and effective time management skills
- Positive communication and customer service mindset
- Ability to adapt, prioritise, and plan effectively
