Early Year Practitioner required in Chepstow.
We are currently seeking 2 level 3 Early Years practitioners for a school based in Chepstow.
The Nursery school prides itself on it's high standards and friendly environment so would like to recruit the right candidate with has the same principles as well as having a passion for growing young minds in a professional way.
The role will be full time starting in September 2024. This 'outstanding' school has a nursery attached to it, and we are seeking the successful candidates to have the following.
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner who values children.
- Have high, though realistic expectations of the children.
- Have a thorough up-to-date knowledge of the teaching year group curriculum.
- Be IT literate and be able to use interactive whiteboard technology.
- Be committed to making a difference to all children of all abilities and talents, using a variety of teaching styles to aid learning.
- Be a committed, dynamic and pro-active teacher and a cheerful, friendly and cooperative member of the staff.
- Be supportive and positive in their interactions with team members and pupils.
- Maintain excellent levels of appearance, attendance and punctuality.
- Involve themselves fully in the life of the school.
- Value, and be willing to promote, the caring ethos of the school.
Candidate will have to have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people aging from 18 months and above.
