With the start of a new academic year, the SLT are now looking for an ambitious Teaching Assistant to join the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement structured learning activities/ teaching programmes.
- Support pupils in accessing learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Covering the class when required.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience working within a classroom as a Teaching Assistant.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and its implementation.
- Desirable: Experience working with children in a school setting.
