Job Title: Trainee Solicitor
Salary: £25,000 + Benefits
Location: Slough
Length of Contract: 12 Month initial contract with a view to a 12 month extension

Working with the General Legal Counsel, the Trainee Solicitor will work to support the transformation of the business as well as provide the essential day-to-day services of an in-house solicitor across a wide range of practice areas including regulation, litigation, commercial lending, employment and commercial property. You will also assist the General Legal Counsel in their role as Company Secretary.
In return for your commitment to the role they will ensure that you are given all required practical and relevant experience in various areas of law in order to help you to qualify.
If qualifying via the LPC route, you must have completed the LPC or candidates looking to qualify via the SQE route are welcome to apply.
The day to day responsibilities of the role are interesting and varied and will include reviewing and drafting contracts, providing consumer law advice, assisting with litigation, representing the legal team at various internal and external meetings, liaising and working with external Counsel and provision of legal updates to name a few!
