Overview of an Ad-hock Administrator:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Ad-hock Administrator to join an expanding team. The role of an Ad-hock Administrator a competitive pay rate of £ 13.67per hour, increasing in line with Harrow Council Pay Scale increments. Other benefits include, accruing up to 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within Harrow Council.
The Main Purpose of an Ad-hock Administrator:
- To be responsible for the collection, receipt and the sorting and distribution of incoming, outgoing and internal post and for postal record keeping, taking responsibility for action in line with business processes.
- To input, maintain and retrieve data on a relevant database/computer system.
- To undertake general administrative duties including, filing, photocopying, collating papers, typing standard letters etc
- To answer routine telephone, email and written queries and enquiries, signposting as appropriate or forwarding a message to relevant colleague.
About you, the successful Ad-hock Administrator will have:
- Awareness of customer needs and expectations within a business support environment
- Dealing with customers both internal and external, dealing tactfully and sensitively with clients and other staff members by telephone and face-to-face
- To have a competent understanding of current and future technological developments and their potential application within and for the Council (desirable)
