NPI Engineer - Full Time
Monday - Friday 08.00am - 16.00pm
Pay: 25k - 35k DOE
People Solutions are looking for a NPI Engineer for our client based in Stourbridge

Day to Day Duties;
- Maintain skills matrices and utilise to extend flexibility within team.
- Liaise closely with sales function to expand markets for potential customer and applications
- Assist customer visits and liaison and audits.
- Ensure all machine, plant and equipment are maintained to meet specification and operational demands and optimum utilisation.
- Convey and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Recommend projects to improve performance and implement cost saving ideas
- Visually manage all KPI's.
- Attend and participate in meetings
- Daily review and analysis of internal rejects
- External rejects/Quality
- H&S and environmental
- Production
- Sample/NPI
- Continuous improvement/ key tasks and projects
- Monthly business plan/review
- Participate in process and quality audits
- Maintain succession planning and cover within the department
Essential Skills;
- Confident and proactive with a background in Foundry/forge/Casting/Heaving Engineering
- Preferably experienced in the application of quality tools essential to New Production Introduction - DFMEA, PFMEA , Control Plans and process/quality auditing
- Project manage the quality aspects to NPI and Prototype manufacture.
- Confidently use EXCEL AND WORD
Desirable Experience;
- Be able to develop and actively improve risk assessments for key activities within departments.
