An award-winning design firm with a rich legacy and innovative approach is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their dynamic team in Glasgow. Revit would be essential to succeed in the role.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Lead and manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and other team members to develop detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of planning and building control applications.
  • Utilise advanced Revit/ BIM software to produce detailed construction documents.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and planning policies.
  • You should uphold substantial post qualification experience in an architectural technician role, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical proficiency and project experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit, and other industry-standard software's.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations, construction processes, and detailing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
