Ticket Sales and Information Assistant

Whether you're selling the ticket that starts it all, sharing information to enhance their visit or liaising with key industry partners for group visits, joining our outstanding and friendly Tickets Sales and Information team you'll be a vital part of each visitor's experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll handle phone, online, and in person ticket sales, providing a helpful and efficient service to customers.
  • You'll engage with customers, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour, answering their questions and offering information to enhance the customer experience.
  • Skilfully upselling merchandise, gift aid, promoting e-mail subscription, and promoting the other experiences we have to offer.
  • Responding to queries from our e-mail inboxes, you will help answer the varied questions from members of the public about their visits and our sites.

Essential Criteria:

  • With a positive, approachable and adaptable communication style you'll be confident engaging with a wide variety of people over the telephone in our busy contact centre and face-to-face at our ticket desks.
  • Proactive and motivated by results, you'll be able to deliver both ambitious sales targets and extraordinary customer service.
  • You're also an excellent team player, with the ability to work flexibly and effectively in an often-changing environment.
  • It's important that you'll be able to use a variety of IT packages and be comfortable learning new ones.
  • With good organisation and great attention for detail, you'll be able to prioritise your day and always work accurately, even when things get busy.

In all you do, you'll be eager to deliver customer satisfaction, leaving a positive impression that will last long after their visit has ended.
