We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy and friendly HR & Development team. We are seeking a passionate individual to join our clients people-focused HR team. The Human Resources Officer will assist in the development and implementation of

HR functions to support the overall business. This is an opportunity to become part of an organisation that is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies that are transforming the energy landscape.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high standard of support across a full range of HR activities including the full employee life cycle, recruitment, benefits, payroll, and learning and development. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to and assist with HR projects.

About the role:

We are looking for someone to take a pivotal role working within our clients central HR Team. You will be passionate about data and systems and be meticulous and well organised, and you will be instrumental in ensuring the function is delivering to the highest standard in a regulated environment.

  • Handle sensitive data and information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent management.
  • Assist with the onboarding process, including delivering inductions, conducting Right to Work checks, and performing reference checks.
  • Coordinate recruitment opportunities and professional development needs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries, addressing requests concerning HR issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Participate in screening and interviews with candidates.
  • Prepare and process HR letters, conduct exit interviews, take meeting minutes, and handle other documentation as needed.
  • Manage personnel records and conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
  • Support employee performance and compensation reviews.
  • Promote a positive working environment and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Participate in internal or external training as required and ensure legal compliance.
  • Perform other tasks as required by HR Manager or Senior Management.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven track record in a similar HR role.
  • HND or CIPD Level 3 Qualified, studying towards or an interest to do so.
  • Experience of working in an HR environment undertaking a range of tasks including and general HR administration.
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
