Established for over 40 years and one of the largest independent, family-owned importers in their field, our client are now looking to add an experienced Credit Control person to their team based from their facility in Gloucestershire. If you have previous experience in a credit control role and are looking for a new challenge this could be the role for you! This position is on an 18mth FTC, with a potential permanent role in the future and would suit candidates from Stroud, Stonehouse, Gloucester, Tetbury, Dursley and surrounding areas.
The duties and responsibilities of this Credit Control role include:
Daily
- Allocation of monies received
- Reviewing and releasing orders
- Renewing expired credit limits
- Debt chasing (Via phone and email)
- Resolving invoice/order queries
- Liaising with insurance broker on bad debts & insurances
- Reviewing credit limits - internally and with guidance by insurance company
Monthly
- Month end reconciliation of bank to Bistrack (our sales and stock program)
- Month end reconciliation of GBP and EURO sales ledgers
- Reporting overdue invoices to insurance company within strict deadlines.
Requirements of this Credit Control role:
- Strong mathematical and written/verbal communication skills
- Good level of IT skills
- Previous Credit Control experience highly desirable
- Good working knowledge of Sage Accounts packages and or Bistrack preferred
- Open to learn new skills and take on new tasks
