Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking an experienced Cook/Housekeeper for their large home in the Scottish Borders near Melrose. The welcoming family are looking for someone who will muck in and recognise what needs to be done to ensure the smooth running of the household. There is another full time Housekeeper at the property so working as part of a team is essential.
The family are flexible on the skill set of the Cook Housekeeper so we would encourage applicants to get in touch.
Duties Include:
- Cooking daily for the family, dinner parties and weekend guests
- Housekeeping
- Security of the property
- Caring for fine art
- Flexibility in approach to work
- Driving
- Laundry
- Ironing
The key part of this role is the cooking, the housekeeping element is shared with the Housekeeper
Accommodation: 2 bedroom annex with own entrance and privacy.

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 GPA
