Our client is seeking an experienced Factory Technical Manager to join their team, aiming to manage the QA team and to maintain technical procedures across the plant.
As a Factory Technical Manager, you will ideally have a background in managing site quality systems and managing the day-to-day activities of a quality team.

- Manage the routine activities of the QA department
- Produce and coordinate the QA department shift pattern
- Support the Technical Manager with the implementation of management systems
- Ensure risk assessments are carried out to planned schedules
- Attending site meetings
- Liaising with HR for staffing requirements
- Ensure training matrix is carried out in-line with development plans
- Staff appraisals
- Supporting Technical Manager with QA improvements and procedure updates
- Complete process control validation and verification schedules
The Factory Technical Manager will have:
- Knowledge of hygiene policies and procedures
- Level 3 Food Safety certification
- Training in Equality and Diversity
- Level 3 Health & Safety qualification
- Level 4 HACCP
- Knowledge of risk assessments and safe working procedures
- Training in reporting hazards and near misses
- Training in accident investigation
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and tools
- Proven experience in cost management, health and safety, quality system oversight, and change management
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary per annum £45,000
