- We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join a successful and growing manufacturing business. This role is essential for increasing capacity and meeting the growing number of orders. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working from engineering drawings and will be involved in various fabrication processes such as laser brake press, drilling, punching, folding, and deburring.
Day to Day of the role:
- Interpret and plan engineering work from PDF drawings.
- Undertake fabrication tasks including laser brake press, drilling, punching, folding, and deburring.
- Solve problems and make improvements to production processes.
- Ensure high-quality standards and adherence to timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator.
- Fully conversant in interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experience with laser brake press, drilling, punching, folding, and deburring.
- Ability to work on bespoke and complex production runs.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvements.
- Good base of skills as a Fabricator – welding useful but not essential.
