Night Porters

Our client, a Cambridge College wishes to recruit two permanent Night Porters in the Porters' Lodge. The main point of public entry to the College, the Porters provide a comprehensive front of house and security service to College Fellows, staff, students and visitors.

Location: Cambridge, CB2
Salary: Spine Point 28 on the University Salary Spine Point Chart; £25,138 pro-rated
Vacancy Type: 2 x Permanent roles, 1 x 24.75 hours per week, 1 x 27.5 hours per week, opportunity to work additional hours

This role is to join the team working a dedicated night shift, dealing with all issues which occur at the College during night time hours.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar field of work (security, managing the public, customer service or information and assistance for example) and possess a courteous and professional approach. Reliable, conscientious and methodical with the ability to organise a varied workload, experience of IT and security systems would be an advantage.
