Senior Manufacturing Engineer required to join a well-established manufacturing company that is based in the Bristol area. Within this position you will be responsible for development and launch of new aerospace components into production utilising APQP to Identify and mitigate risks during the product development process.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the NPI Manager, CNC Programmers, Production personnel and suppliers ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient and cost effective.

Position Overview
- Identify and mitigate risks during the product development process, including potential issues with the manufacturing process, or supply chain utilising APQP.
- Analyse Engineering Change Requests and supporting follow-up actions are required.
- Determine rework routings as required.
- Support investigation of nonconformances and represent Engineering in Root Cause Analysis activities.
- Collaborate with CNC Programmers, production personnel, and suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce production costs.
- Identify areas for process improvement
- Conduct process validations and establish process controls to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems in manufacturing processes and make improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure that critical NPI is introduced with minimum risk utilising APQP/FMEA elements.
- Provide technical support where needed

Position Requirements
- Previous experience within a Senior Manufacturing / NPI Engineering position or similar
- Previous experience working within the Aerospace industry
- Experience with process design, optimization, and improvement.
- Experience with quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Strong understanding of APQP and FMEA methodologies
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

- Full time - Permanent position
- Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
- Monday to Friday
- 33 day annual leave including bh
