Description
As Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Work closely with senior management to provide key financial insights
- Contribute to cost control, financial planning, and decision-making processes
- Manage reconciliations and assist in month-end closing
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial operations
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects
- General support across the Finance team ensuring all in check
Profile
Our client is looking for the following:
- Actively studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification
- Solid understanding of management accounting principles
- Prior experience in Financial Services is essential, with a preference for candidates from the Investments sector
- Skilled in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with previous experience using Oracle being highly desirable
Job Offer
- Salary up to £55,000, with study support available if the role transitions to permanent
- 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave
