The Role:
As the School Business Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for:
- Leading and managing all non-teaching operations, including finance, HR, premises, and administration.
- Ensuring the school runs efficiently, safely, and in line with strategic goals, while maintaining a healthy and welcoming environment.
- Managing and overseeing budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively.
- Creating and implementing development plans for continuous improvement across support services.
- Supporting the recruitment and development of a team that will contribute to the school's success.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Management or Professional qualification in a related field (e.g., Diploma in Management or Finance qualification) is desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in education.
- Familiarity with current inspection frameworks and safeguarding procedures.
- Proven experience managing financial systems, including budget preparation and monitoring EBITDA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
