Join a dynamic, specialist international Lloyds broking business who create and place a diverse range of bespoke covers on behalf of clients operating across a spectrum of different industry sectors.
The Junior Broker will fully support the end-to-end broking process, place risks into the Lloyds / Company market. And develop strong relationships with clients. Providing full operational support to broking team and proactively assist in the day to day running of clients risks and insurance programmes.
R esponsibilities:
- To provide day to day support to the Specialty teams; with the agility to work across different insurance classes when required.
- Independent broking on less complex accounts or as part of overall placement strategy on complex accounts.
- Support wider team in developing client relationships by ensuring that all client needs and requirements from an administrative perspective are handled in a timely, technically accurate and compliant manner.
- Assist Managers in the quality control of slips, endorsements and support in resolving any processing queries.
- Monitor and seeking agreement of slips and endorsements via the London Market's PPL electronic placing platform as well as the firm's platform of choice (White Space).
Candidate profile:
- Some experience gained within a Lloyds London market environment.
- Understanding of the risk placement process.
- Familiarity with MRC slips and endorsements
- Use of PPL and / or Whitespace would be ideal, but not essential
