CLEANING OPERATIVE (NIGHTS)
Our client is a busy food manufacturing company, who pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in their industrial facilities.
Due to continued growth they are currently looking at introducing a new cleaning team to their business operation, as a result we are seeking dedicated and experienced Night Cleaning Operatives.
The Role
The Night Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our industrial facility during the night shift. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Clean and sanitise production areas, machinery, equipment, toilets and office spaces according to established protocols.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Empty and clean waste bins and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Clean and maintain restrooms and break areas.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Times: 2100 - 0600
Pay: £12.00
Location: Milton Keynes
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years previous experience in industrial cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work the night shift, and holidays if necessary.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
