Personal Assistant

SRM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant to join a dynamic and fast paced business. The ideal candidate will provide top-level assistance for a senior stakeholder in the business. This role is 3 to 4 days a week and is mostly remote. The responsibilities are a mixture of business and personal support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily business operations and ensure preparation for meetings.
  • Manage office bookkeeping, bills, and expenses.
  • Monitor and organize the Managing Partner's email, responding as necessary.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and other business-related tasks.
  • Source and manage external help or suppliers/contractors as required.

  • Track personal expenses and collaborate with the accountant to classify spending.
  • Ensure timely payments and manage financial records.
  • Manage restaurant reservations, travel arrangements, and schedule activities.
  • Oversee memberships and bookings.
  • Plan and book travel arrangements (flights, hotels, taxis, trains).
  • Oversee small legal claims.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors to ensure ongoing property maintenance.
  • Handle bills, supplier contracts, and related payments.
  • Manage car maintenance and related administrative tasks.
  • Address any maintenance or property-related issues.
  • Organize logistical arrangements for visits
  • Liaise with local property managers for ongoing maintenance and project work
  • Monitor local expenditures and manage budgets.
  • Handle property-related administration, including taxes, bills, and insurance.
  • Flexibility to handle urgent queries outside regular working hours.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate effectively with portfolio companies, personal contractors, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
