We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide PPA cover, sickness cover, lead classes and lead interventions across all Key Stages at a vibrant primary school. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about contributing to the educational development of children and is available to work on for a full week.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity of education during teacher absence.
- Supporting pupils' learning activities across
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and contributing to the planning and preparation of activities.
- Providing feedback to teachers on pupils' progress and any issues encountered.
- Assisting with the development of resources and learning materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with across all Key Stages.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and PPA cover requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively and maintain discipline.
- Flexibility to work the required days and adapt to the needs of the school.
