Location: London
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 DOE + Vehicle/Travel Allowance
Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Mon to Fri
Company Benefits: Company Pension, Holiday entitlement of 20 days holiday per annum. This entitlement is pro rata and increases one day per year until you reach 25 days, Travel allowance / Vehicle, Private Health Care.

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a Fire and Security business who are looking to recruit a Service Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth to cover London and the surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and call out works for security and fire solutions.
  • Fault finding and setting up CCTV and access control systems, including network switches and software.
  • Maintaining accurate records on site as well as the company servicing portal.
  • Working with the administration team, complying with company policies and work instructions. Uploading all job sheets to the database each day and updating the admin team, maintaining an accurate and high standard of paperwork.
  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and working to the current industry standards.
  • Client liaison.
  • To undertake callout duties as part of the engineering team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least three years' previous relevant experience is essential for this role.
  • It would be an advantage if the candidate has training for FIA, IPAF, CSCS & Pasma.
  • A good understanding of the British Standards for Fire & Security (BAFE & NSI Gold)
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and must be a good communicator.
