Are you looking for a new role? I am recruiting for a Marketing Assistant in the Chelmsford area. This role Is varied, covering many aspects of Marketing but predominately focused on managing the network of branch events. You will be part of a team responsible for driving brand awareness, enhancing customer engagement and supporting business growth.
Full-time: 37.5 hours (8:30am - 5:00pm)
Driving licence: Yes
Pay: £25,000 - £28,000
Office Based: 5x a week
Responsibilities

Liaise with Branch Managers to organise the marketing of branch events

Co-ordinate promotion via websites, email, and across other social media platforms

Produce leaflets and posters for the trade counter

Occasionally attend events for insight into improving the marketing of these events

Manage the GDPR compliant marketing database of customers.

Write compelling copy for email campaigns and website content

Manage and monitor the POS materials for the branch network

Work closely with the Marketing Executive to create and manage the creation of:

Branch signage and other marketing materials

Digital Marketing assets

Advertisement for various print and online publications

Liaise with the Social Media Co-ordinator to develop campaigns for our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, etc) and manage these platforms in their absence

Review and make recommendations to keep the websites up to date with relevant and engaging content.

Research new marketing opportunities and monitor competitors
Skills needed:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong copywriting skills and attention for detail
- Proven experience in event coordination is ideal but being well organised is essential
- Experience in website content management and digital marketing would be desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media Platforms and Content Management Platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and keep to deadlines.
