Credit Controller – 5-Month Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Credit Controller
to join our client's team on a 5-month contract. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement after the completion of training and is based in Solihull
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the credit control process
- Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and letter
- Reconciling accounts and resolving any payment discrepancies
- Building strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments
- Producing reports on debtors and cash collection for management
- Allocating incoming payments and updating customer records
- Negotiating payment plans with clients when necessary
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries and disputes
About You:
You will need to have
at least 1 year of credit control experience
, with a proactive approach and strong communication skills. Experience working with accounting systems and Excel is essential. You'll thrive in a busy environment and work well both independently and as part of a team.
