Butler Rose is working with a fantastic business in Exeter to recruit a Project Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid working role.
Reporting into the Finance Director, this is varied an interesting role where you will liaise with various stakeholders across the business and provide key information.
Key duties will include:
- Financial planning and modelling, identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities for the business and developing financial models to be presented to senior leaders and the board.
- Advising budget holders on accounting policies and procedures and how they impact on business decisions from a risk and opportunity perspective.
- Cash flow forecasting
- Maintaining strong financial controls
- Support the year-end accounts process and audit
- Other reporting duties as required
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with excellent communication skills and the ability to produce and report information to various stakeholders.
