My client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Property Finance Specialist to support our finance department. This role is integral in managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio and offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience in property finance.
Day to Day of the role:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents related to property management.
- Manage the invoicing process for tenants and vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, oversee collections, and resolve issues promptly.
- Verify and process property-related expenses, managing accounts payable effectively.
- Maintain accurate financial records for properties in the accounting system.
- Enter financial transactions with precision and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports.
- Assist in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, and organising financial documents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a finance role, preferably within property finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Must have experience with accounting software D365.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, with a focus on property accounting.
