As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you will be an integral part of our client's Business Management team. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with clients' accounts, such as bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, and maintaining sales and purchase ledgers. You will also have the opportunity to engage in adhoc tasks and build strong client relationships. Working under the guidance of a Senior Accountant, you will provide support across the entire Business Management team.

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of A level education or equivalent
  • Currently studying towards or willing to start studying towards an accounting qualification, preferably ACCA
  • Adaptable, hard-working, and a team player
  • Highly efficient, meticulous, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • IT literate with an interest in becoming proficient in key software packages
  • Positive attitude and flexibility in the workplace
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
