Senior Project Manager (Ecology)
Salary: £33,000 - £42,000
Location: North Baddesley, Hampshire

We are looking for a Senior Ecologist with strong project management experience to join a leading ecological consultancy in the picturesque Hampshire countryside. As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead a team of dedicated ecologists, offering expert advice, managing ecological projects, and overseeing the successful delivery of surveys and mitigation strategies across various initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about mentoring junior team members, managing complex ecological projects, and driving conservation and development goals forward.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Ecology or a related field
  • Extensive experience conducting habitat and protected species surveys (essential)
  • Proven leadership and project management experience, especially in managing large-scale projects (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of UK and European ecological legislation
  • Excellent report writing skills, including PEA, EIA, and BNG reports
  • Hold one or more Protected Species Licences
  • Proficiency with QGIS and other ecological software
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Membership of CIEEM
