With a competitive salary range of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum and a working schedule of Monday to Friday (8.00AM – 16.30PM), this permanent position promises to be both rewarding and fulfilling.

What You Will Do:

  • Produce 2D AutoCAD drawings and programs for Laser machine operation.
  • Interpret engineer drawings and apply them in creating detailed designs.
  • Utilize CAM-based software to generate basic programs for Amada Laser.
  • Provide technical support to both customers and shop floor staff, including taking basic measurements on the shop floor.
  • Occasionally assist the quotations team with your expertise.
  • Maintain documentation and log all breakdowns and servicing work accurately.

What You Will Bring:

  • An engineering-based qualification or substantial experience in a technical support role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD or CAM type software.
  • Experience or background in sheet metal production is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional accuracy in taking measurements and applying them to designs.
  • A proactive approach to learning and personal development.
