Business Development Manager

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager based in Maldon (Hybrid Remote) on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, exploring and expanding into new markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a passion for discovering new opportunities. You will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and entering new markets, as well as identifying potential areas of growth within existing markets. Your primary objective is to increase revenue by finding and developing untapped opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, market demands, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Understanding current business capabilities and exploring new markets and potential clients.
  • Building strong relationships with potential, new and existing customers.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and potential clients in new markets.
  • Drive the generation of new leads and convert them into profitable business opportunities.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of working within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Previous sales/business development experience.
  • Confident when speaking with new and existing customers.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

In return our client offers a basic salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) + uncapped OTE and hybrid/remote working.
