Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

CitySprint have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Bid Management to lead all aspects of bid management and development your team to ensure appropriate skills and resources as the business grows. The role is primarily focussed on implementation and management of people, systems and processes to drive an increase in bid participation and conversion rate of new and retained business. This will also form the key measures of success for this role.

As a successful Head of Bid Management you will be responsible for lifecycle of bids from intent to participate, through to implementation and operational handover. As such you will require first-rate project management skills, ensuring that all department contribution is made on time and in full.

The main responsibilities within the Head of Bid Management role are:

  • You will be proficient at managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that timelines are clearly communicated and managed to.
  • You will always ensure bespoke requirements of bids are understood and answered within the response and responses cover the specific requirements of the tenderer
  • Working in line with Salesforce protocols for activity recording, you will also maintain a document repository with most up to date company information and branding.
  • Pro-actively reviews and monitors ways of working to ensure best practice and streamline processes to maximise efficiency
  • Creating high quality standardised submission text, you will be cognisant of differentiators that make CitySprint special and unique whilst driving a standardised approach to bid management and working processes

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Possess an excellent command of written English, ensuring executive summaries are high quality, personalised to the reader and work with department leaders to raise quality of responses where appropriate.
  • Understanding of business processes and basic corporate finance, management and accounting principles
  • Ability to successfully negotiate and close a deal
  • Proven proficiency of creating, analysing and disseminating clear and concise reports with context
  • Experience of public sector and NHS bid management and responses is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex tenders, precise scheduling and multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
  • Prior experience with sales and sales management tracking databases
  • High-volume, business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
