Sales Engineer - East Midlands

A leading HVAC manufacturing and sales business has partnered with the team at NET Recruit on their mission to find a Sales Engineer to join the team located in the East Midlands area. As a company that has built up a successful business model and consumer base, the business in question is continuing to branch out and develop its strategy moving forwards. It's main product and service line is HVAC and cold storage units, which it sells and also rents out to major businesses across the country, to fill long term or short-term issues with their solutions. As well as this the business also provide service and maintenance duties for customers as well, enabling it to consolidate a fully holistic and 360 degree service for its client base.

This role will fit nicely into the team, supporting the promotion and selling of Hire solutions to both new and existing clients. The role will be focussed on developing and maintaining a really strong pipeline and building a strong relationships with potential customers.

Your Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Targeting potential customers who may benefit and desire the Hire solution products across Process Cooling and HVAC, and building strong customer relationships
  • Developing sales strategies and implementing these into workload to proactively generate leads and converting leads into genuine sales opportunities
  • Undertaking market research to ensure that trends, competitors and opportunities are identified
  • Maintaining and building a really strong pipeline for sales, ensuring this is pushed through to the CRM and that that it is reguarlarly updated with relevant information
  • Working closely with the marketing team to create promotional collateral
  • Providing technical guidance to customers to support them in identifying suitable hire solutions
  • Conducting site visits to evaluate customer needs
  • Preparing sales reports based on forecasts and analysis of the market

What you will need to Apply:

This position will involve

travel around the region as well as the occasional national travel

and so the position holder will need to possess a full driver's license. To be considered for this position, the company is requiring candidates who have previously worked within a sales or customer relationship management role, within the HVAC or refrigeration industry. Additionally, a qualification in engineering or a related subject would be highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are key to success in this role, alongside IT comprehension, including CRM software and Microsoft Office.

What you will get in Return:

For the successful candidate, the company is offering a generous starting salary of up to £60,000, dependent on previous experience, which will be supported by an bonus scheme, of around 30%. Additionally, there will be an excellent peripheral package put into place to include holiday allocation, pension contribution and monetary perks including insurance.
