Description
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes within the firm.
- Conduct CDD and AML checks on new and existing clients.
- Conduct ongoing PEP monitoring and sanctions screenings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs.
- Evaluate internal policies and procedures to identify possible compliance risks.
- Conduct compliance audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Keep abreast of changes in SRA laws and regulations that may impact the firm.
Profile
A successful Compliance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must have previous risk and compliance experience in a law firm setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal requirements.
