We are looking for a talented Product Account Manager who loves both sales and product to join a creative and successful business who supply products to leading global retailers.

With your excellent relationship building skills and commercial eye, you will liaise with retailers, providing excellent service at all times, and maximising opportunities and spend. Working closely with the Key Account Manager and the PD team, you'll ensure new bespoke product ranges are being developed to the clients brief and on time, and that any special requirements have been met.

This is the perfect role for someone who is a people-person, is proactive and organised, and has a genuine interest in retail, and is looking to join a company with great values and environmental commitments.

Duties & responsibilities for this Product Account Manager include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with your customers, providing outstanding service levels at all times
  • Along with the Key Account Manager, negotiate costs with the PD team and customers to achieve a minimum target margins
  • Build excellent knowledge of your accost products and sell through, keeping trend and market aware
  • Liaise with customers re costs, dates, samples, account terms and general requirements, assisting with customer meetings
  • Critical path management to ensure key dates are met
  • Set up and manage the Cost Sheet
  • Coordinating with all internal teams to guarantee the smoothness of communication and overall knowledge of customers / orders including special requirements
  • Working collaboratively with customers to support amendments in products, offering ideas and alternatives to ensure quality, lead-times and forecasts are met
  • Trouble shoot any production issues with the Production Coordinator
  • Receiving customer PO's, checking they match factory PI's in pricing, quantities, critical path dates, etc
  • Collate mass samples and arrange product/range photography with Sales Support
  • Present analysis of seasons performance to Sales Director & Internal teams

Experience & requirements for this Product Account Manager position:

  • Experience in a similar account management / buying / product driven role, working directly with retailers
  • A love of sales and product, with a creative and commercial eye
  • Strong attention to detail with a good understanding of forecasting and sales analysis
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with a personable approach and great negotiating skills
  • Proactive and deadline driven with excellent time manager skills
  • A positive approach and a great team player
