Our client, a leading metal stockholder in the Manchester area, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Internal Sales Executive to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a proven track record in an internal sales position, looking to advance their career with a reputable and established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing and new customer accounts.
- Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery times.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and exceptional customer service.
- Process sales orders efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with the external sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term business growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an internal sales role, preferably within the metal or manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft
- A proactive and results-driven mindset.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
