Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with an excellent manufacturing business, based in the Teesside Area.
They are keen to recruit a Finance Analyst into their Finance Team.
You would report directly into the Commercial Finance Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses and reporting of sales results, and other key business data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports on commercial activities, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis. Month end process support and improvement for group reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Pricing Strategy: Assist in developing and evaluating pricing models based on market research and internal cost data.
- Financial Forecasting: Support financial forecasting with financial models and data insight.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with wider business teams to gather information and support with business decisions and understanding of business impact on reported numbers.
You Will Be/Have
- Actively studying - Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA).
- Strong ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and to distil complex information into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis & financial tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, HFM, Oracle) and understanding of financial modelling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Capacity to think strategically and understand the broader business implications of data insights.
- Address through financial and business data business challenges that impact sales and profitability, and those that require process improvement.
- Provide robust analytical support for new business, pricing and product initiatives.
- Accountable for the accuracy and relevance of the analytical insights provided, impacting decision-making.
- Plays a critical role in shaping the company's strategies through data-driven insights.
