Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: South Cambridge

Hourly rate: up to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
I am looking for a detail-oriented and self motivated individual to join my client's small finance team on a temporary basis. This short term assignment involves providing crucial support in managing the purchase ledger and bank reconciliations. Based in South Cambridge, this role is ideal for someone with a solid background within purchase ledger, that can come in and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the AP inbox
- Accurately process invoices ready for payment
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving them efficiently.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any invoice or payment queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Key skills required:
- Proven experience in purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
