Special Contingency Risks (SCR) - Billing Team Deputy Leader:
This role is responsible for the deputy management of a team that supports a Business Unit from within the Operations department. Working closely with a fast-paced team, providing accurate, effective operational and problem-solving support, within the Willis Towers Watson CEM framework.
The Role
Operational and Service Delivery
- Supporting Line Management responsibility for UK-based K&R billing team
- Understand, apply and where necessary explain the business unit policies and procedures.
- Deliver timely and accurate end to end client documentation, within the CEM framework, FCA and contract certainty requirements
- Loading of data into the relevant WTW systems, in an accurate and timely manner
- Undertake and verify due diligence of new clients, markets and third parties
- Review, monitor and provide resolution to technical questions from clients, markets, A&S, claims, compliance and business unit colleagues, to ensure that the client's best interests are maintained
- Support the BU in accurate tracking and processing of revenue, as required
- Assist and liaise with Xchanging, the bureau submission and Facilities teams on submission queries
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels
- Undertake all mandatory training within the deadline set
- Undertake annually required level of Continuous Professional Development
- Perform quality checks on all documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of information at all times and manage data in line with WTW guidelines
- Any other duties as requested.
The Requirements
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage conflicting priorities
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of colleagues and external sources
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Understanding of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery
- Working knowledge of insurance industry, wordings and the regulatory environment
- Working towards or willing to undertake CII qualifications
- Previous people management / supervisory experience preferable.
