Office Manager / Front of House - Corporate
A boutique investment company in Central London is seeking a well-presented, proactive, and organized Office Manager / Front of House. In this dual role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office, while also acting as the welcoming face of the company to clients and visitors.
Office Manager / Front of House - What Will I Be Doing?
- Initially, the role will involve overseeing an office move for the team and then transitioning into managing the day-to-day operations.
- Greeting and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Overseeing the smooth operation of the office, keeping it tidy, organized, and fully stocked.
- Managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, couriers, and post.
- Assisting with the organization of internal and external company events, meetings, and team activities.
- Supporting the administrative team with tasks such as booking travel, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
- Liaising with building management, vendors, and service providers, managing contracts and leases.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Taking on ad-hoc tasks to support the team and maintain efficient office operations.
Office Manager / Front of House - What Experience Do I Need?
- Previous experience in a front-of-house or reception role, ideally combined with some office management or administrative experience.
- Experience working in boutique investment firms or similar professional environments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with a willingness to learn new systems.
- A collaborative, team-focused mindset, as well as the ability to work independently.
Office Manager / Front of House - What Else Do I Need to Know?
This is a full-time, office-based role in Soho, Central London, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is competitive plus a discretionary bonus, depending on experience. Interviews are starting soon, with an anticipated start date of 2nd January 2025.
