Bartender - Japanese Restaurant - Soho

My client is a renowned Japanese restaurant dedicated to serving authentic and innovative Japanese cuisines ( Japanese Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, Australian beef offal, and American grains ) in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere in London Soho!

We are looking for a Bartender to join one of Asia's Top Fine dining restaurants.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring equipment is in working order.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about beverage options.
  • Adhere to all alcohol-related laws and regulations, including verifying the age of guests and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Collaborate with floor staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drinks to guests.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock of ingredients and supplies.
  • Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the bar area and equipment.
  • Upsell additional products and promotions to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new beverage offerings to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements and skills

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or similar setting preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction.
